Happy Father of four children. Entrepreneurial, business minded and lover of photography.

As a teenager I learned the fundamentals of photography in the darkroom at high school, just before the digital took hold. Becoming familiar with the concepts of exposure, printing & of the principals of light and shadow, I developed and sold images to fellow classmates & teachers which gave me a strong sense of what people wanted & admired in photography.

Nowadays the digital photographic process has unleashed me from the darkroom, and allowed me more time to be creative in the field. My areas of interest include family, people, life, places and nature.

I tend to tweak my work, just enough so it doesn't look too surreal or unnatural. I strive for strong, dynamic imagery to provoke an emotional response within the viewer, capturing moments in time when everything has come together ... the ideal subject matter... stunning compositions... breathtaking scenery... gorgeous sweet natural lighting... whatever it takes to create that 'perfect shot'.
